For gyms that haven't opened yet
The day you open is too late to start looking for members. With Orlo you can have it all running while the builders are still in.
Timetable, prices, who you are and where you are. Properly published, on your own domain, so Google can start indexing it while you build the rest.
Put a contact form on your site and you'll get an email for every person who asks when you're opening. You choose which address they land in.
When you're ready, you open bookings for the first classes. The timetable you already built is the one that goes live, with nothing to retype.
6-12 months before
Premises, activity licence and technical project. It takes the longest and depends on you the least, so it goes first.
3-6 months before
Concept, timetable and prices. This is when setting Orlo up starts to make sense: defining your prices and timetable means building them, not noting them on a spreadsheet.
2-3 months before
Your website published and collecting interest. Google takes weeks to index a new site — the earlier it's up, the more people find you searching for a gym in your area the month you open.
1 month before
You open bookings for the first classes and write to the people who have been asking.
The day you open
You connect your domain and your Stripe, and start charging. That's the day the €149/month starts.
Permits are set by your town hall and vary by region: ask them before you sign the lease.
This is not a 14-day trial. You can take six months to open and you'll pay nothing in those six months.
It makes sense: until you have members paying, Orlo isn't making you any money. We start charging the day you start charging.
I built Orlo after opening my own boutique gym in Barcelona, and going through exactly this: the spreadsheets, the payments taken by hand, the website that was never up to date and four tools that didn't talk to each other. That's why Orlo doesn't have features that sound good in a demo and then nobody uses. It has what you need to open, and to run.
