Add an exercise to the library so it can be used in workouts.
Needs the Manage exercises permission.
Exercises are the library that workouts are built from. An exercise has to exist here before it can be added to a workout.
You need Manage products as well as Manage exercises to open this page, and your Orlo plan has to include workouts.
Before adding one, check it is not already there. The library is Orlo’s shared catalogue plus the exercises your gym has added. The All exercises filter narrows it: My exercises shows only your gym’s, Orlo catalogue only the shared ones. Orlo remembers your choice the next time you open the library.
Catalogue exercises can be used in any workout, but they are not yours to edit or archive, so they have no actions menu.
The form needs a name on both the EN and the ES tab of Name, or it
will not save. The other fields are Video, Youtube url, Unit of
measure (kg or s: whether clients record the weight they lifted or the
seconds they worked for), Exercise type and Muscle group.
Exercise type and Muscle group are what the library and the workout builder filter by, so setting them is what makes an exercise findable later.
You archive an exercise rather than deleting it, from its actions menu, so anything already recorded against it keeps its history. Archived exercises drop out of the library; to see them, pick Archived in the All types filter, and select Unarchive from an exercise’s menu to bring it back.
