Add a one-off class to the calendar

Put a single class on the timetable without adding it to the weekly schedule.

Needs the Manage events permission.

This is for a class that is not part of the normal week. Classes that run every week belong in the weekly schedule, which puts them on the calendar for you.

  1. Open Schedule in the sidebar and stay on the Calendar tab.
  2. Select Add event at the top of the calendar.
  3. Fill in the class and save it.

The fields that matter

  • Starts at is the date and time of the class.
  • Duration (minutes) and Group size, how long it lasts and how many people can book it, are filled in from the class type you pick, and you can change them.
  • Repeat for copies the class onto the same day and time for that many more weeks after the first. Leave it empty for a single class.
  • Book for books a client straight onto the class, and onto any repeats.
  • Reserved for holds a place for a client without booking them.
  • Price and Member Price set what this class costs. Leave Price empty to use the class type’s default price.

Changing a class people have booked

Opening a class that already has bookings shows a checkbox to email the booked clients about the new date or time. It is ticked to start with, and the email only goes if you change the date, the time or the duration. Clients with no email address, or who booked through a partner app, are not told, and the form says how many of those there are.
