Managing Permissions
This guide is for gym owners and personal trainers using Orlo to streamline operations, engage clients, and grow their business.
You can choose exactly what each team member is allowed to do in the app. This helps you give access to the right tools without exposing sensitive data or features they don’t need.
When you invite a new team member, you can choose their permissions based on their role. For example, a receptionist might only need access to the schedule and client profiles, while a trainer might manage sessions and view their own client feedback.
To edit someone's permissions:
- Go to the Staff area and click on the person’s name.
- Scroll to the Permissions section.
- Check or uncheck each permission depending on what they should be able to access.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Super User automatically gives full access to everything. Other permissions let you control specific actions like managing the schedule, editing class plans, or viewing payments.
You can also choose whether a team member appears on your gym’s public website by checking Show on Team Page.
Keep permissions up to date to make sure your team has the tools they need—and nothing they don’t.
