Packs
This guide is for gym owners and personal trainers using Orlo to streamline operations, engage clients, and grow their business.
Packs are one-time purchases that give clients a fixed number of sessions. They're ideal for clients who don’t want a subscription or want to top up their existing plan with extra sessions. Clients can use packs for either group classes or personal training, depending on what you’ve configured in the product.
How packs work
- Clients purchase packs through your homepage using Stripe Checkout.
- Once payment completes, a pack is added to their account automatically.
- Packs include a set number of sessions—either classes or personal training, depending on the product.
- When a client books a session, the system checks if they have any valid packs and uses the oldest one first.
- As sessions are used, the remaining balance updates automatically.
- If they have a subscription with an allowance, that gets used first before any packs.
How to check a client’s packs
- Go to the client’s profile in the staff area.
- Look under the section that shows their packs and credits.
- You’ll see how many sessions each pack included and how many remain.
Important notes
- Clients can hold more than one pack at a time. The oldest valid pack is always used first.
- There’s no need for staff to manually update pack balances—this happens automatically when clients book or cancel.
- Packs never auto-renew. Once used up, clients need to purchase a new pack to continue.
Packs are a great way to offer flexible, pay-as-you-go options for clients, while keeping everything integrated with your booking and payment systems.
