Setting Up Your Website

This guide is for gym owners and personal trainers using Orlo to streamline operations, engage clients, and grow their business.

Your Orlo website is more than just a place to manage bookings—it’s also a way to present your brand and values to the world. This guide walks you through how to personalise your site with your own colours, content, images, and more.

Customise Colours

You can change the look and feel of your website by selecting your brand colours.

  1. Go to Gym Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Colour Scheme section.
  3. Choose your:
    • Primary colour – main highlight used across buttons and banners.
    • Primary text colour – text that appears on the primary background.
    • Secondary colour – accents or supporting elements.
    • Hero text colour – large text in headers and banners.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

These colours affect the style of your website, including banners, buttons, class progress indicators, and other visual elements.

Add Website Content

You can edit your homepage content to welcome visitors and explain your gym’s values.

  1. Navigate to Website > Content.
  2. Add or update:
    • Your homepage headline and intro.
    • Call-to-action buttons and links.
    • Optional details about your philosophy or how classes work.

This is your chance to help potential clients feel confident about joining.

Upload Images

Strong visuals make your site more compelling.

  1. Go to Website > Images.
  2. Upload:
    • A banner or hero image.
    • Team photos.
    • Any supporting visuals for your homepage.

Create Your Team Page

Showcasing your team helps build trust.

  1. Navigate to Team > People.
  2. For each team member:
    • Add a profile photo.
    • Fill in their name, title and bio on their profile.
    • Tick “Show on team page” to publish them to the website.

Your team page will be automatically updated with their profiles.

Add Social Media Links

Make it easy for people to follow or contact you.

  1. Go to Website > Social Links.
  2. Add your Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, or other accounts.
  3. Save to display these icons in your footer and site header.

Edit Message Templates

These are the emails your clients receive on certain triggers.

  1. Go to Website > Message Templates.
  2. Choose a template (e.g., class reminder, welcome message).
  3. Edit the subject line and message content.
  4. Use variables like %{client_name} to personalise messages.

Tip: Use a friendly, informal tone to help clients feel welcome.

Set Your Policies

Let clients know what to expect with clear policies.

  1. Go to Website > Policies.
  2. Add your terms for:
    • Privacy policy
    • Terms of service
    • Legal notice

These will appear in the footer of your website.
